Course Description:
Join in this engaging and interactive course and fill your toolbox with practical ways to engage and motivate students, inspire a sense of discovery, and create a positive and supportive learning community for all learners. We will explore a variety of brain-based approaches that involve students emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually. These methods will help you facilitate meaningful dialogue and reflection in the classroom, differentiate instruction, and maximize social-emotional learning and academic outcomes. Get your students, moving, talking, and reflecting on academic and social-emotional learning content in novel and engaging ways.

Leave with creative inspiration and new perspectives on experiential learning and differentiated instruction and strategies to empower students of all ages and abilities to build an inspiring and supportive classroom and school community. About the Instructor:
Jennifer Stanchfield inspires educators and learners the world over with her workshops and publications. In her 25 years as an educator, she has worked as a classroom teacher, a clinician in treatment centers, as an adventure educator, and in professional training, adult education, and organizational teambuilding. Through these experiences she has developed an extensive repertoire of experiential activities, tools, and methods that she brings to her engaging and informative workshops and training sessions. She offers practical resources that come from her diverse experiences with learners of all ages incorporated with the latest brain-based research to increase meaningful engagement, content review and community building in the classroom and beyond. Jen is the author of A Teachable Moment, Tips & Tools for the Art of Experiential Group Facilitation and Inspired Educator, Inspired Learner.
