Course Description:
This workshop is for digital natives and newcomers alike. Join Michael to unpack the many ways social media can help you tell your school’s story. Whether Twitter, Google+, Facebook or Voxer, you will learn to explore different social media to understand their reach and impact.

•  Developing your personal PD Plan or District Admin Social Media PD plan
•  Developing a School or District Communication Plan

About the Instructor
Michael Berry is currently the principal of Richmond Elementary School in Richmond, Vermont. Some of my stats:
– Grew up in Gouverneur, New York where both my parents were educators
– Attended Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont where I received a degree in Children’s Literature and Elementary Education
– Taught second grade and kindergarten in East Montpelier, Vermont for eight years
– Received my masters degree in Educational Leadership at Union Institute and University at Vermont College
– I was the principal of Underhill Central School for three years
I’m always eager to learn and have a hard time not reading educational blogs and articles around the clock. I live in central Vermont with my wife, two daughters, a dog and one very grumpy cat.
