Workshop Description:Principal evaluation should be a rich, collaborative, evidence-driven process that is a source of valuable data about the skill of the school leader. In addition, such a process can, and must, serve to grow school Administrators into true leaders of learning.
Dr. Paula Bevan will provide us with a sample set of tools and a process for supervising and evaluating school leaders in reliable and valid ways. Dr. Bevan will facilitate a discussion about the issues connected to pay for performance for school leaders. Dr. Bevan will provide a current example of a school leader pay for performance system, along with tools for its use. For those schools using the Framework for Teaching for teacher evaluation, this process is a parallel system for leaders.
